The park has a single full size tennis court. Available for play all year, the court has a lined tarmac surface and standard net posts with net. It is enclosed with a high chain link fence and a gated access. Classed as a civic amenity, there is no need to book the court but usage is on a first come first served basis.

Although the tennis court is a popular attraction, more often than not it is possible to play when you arrive. Please bear in mind though that the tennis court is far more popular in the summer months and especially during the Wimbledon weeks. At these times you may need to wait a short while for others to finish playing. Please have a little patience when waiting for the court to become available and, when you have started your game, be aware that others may also be waiting to use the court.

You will need to supply your own tennis racquets and tennis balls.
