Problems in the park, whatever their nature, can be a catalyst giving rise to other problems. Tackling a
problem when it is small provides less opportunity for other, more significant problems to take root. By dealing
with small issues on a regular basis, the park becomes and remains a place that can be enjoyed by the many rather than
a place ruled and used by the few. The Fotp are determined that Tothill Park will be a place where
ordinary people can enjoy ordinary pursuits in a safe environment.
The police have given the Fotp committee and the public clear assurances that, if reported, crime in the park of any nature will be
investigated. If you see problems in the park, whatever they are, you may use this site to pass on your concerns to the
relevent bodies. You can even do it anonymously if you wish. However you choose to report problems though, the act of
reporting them can make a real difference to the ordinary day to day park users.

Criminal Damage:
This is one of the PACT team priorities. If you can see criminal damage taking place now, dial 999.

Pact team (click [here] to find out
about Pact and what it can do for you) but making it a success depends entirely upon YOU to report what
you see. To report vandalism please click [here]

Litter: Litter, especially broken glass, is an all year around problem, it is unsightly, unhygenic and is the one thing that can
devalue an entire area. If you wish to report large amounts of litter, large one off items or fly tipping,
clicking [here]
will send an email to Plymouth City Council Parks Department. You may also contact them by writing to Parks Services
90 - 92 Outland Road, Milehouse, Plymouth, PL2 3DE or you can telephone them on 01752 509006
Football Pitch Litter:
Every park user is aware of the huge litter problems on the football pitches caused during and after a football match by
spectators. Part of the terms of use for teams using the pitches is that they collect litter after
every match. In the past this hasn't always happened and the Devon FA who administer booking of pitches and the day to day
affairs of the the teams playing within the local league, are committed to resolving this issue. To help them do this you
are encouraged to report instances of littering directly to them. Please tell them the date and time of the incident so that
they can correctly identify the team responsible and, if at all possible, please also include a photograph showing the litter.
You can click
[here] to make a report. If you prefer you may also telephone using 01626 325911/01626 325912 or write to Mr
Richard Pallot, Devon County Football Association Limited, County Headquarters, Coach Road, Newton Abbot, Devon TQ12 1EJ
Dog Fouling:
We understand that most dog owners are responsible and clear up after their dogs but we also know that there is
a minority that will not. If you see someone that does not clear up after their dog, make a note of the time and date
of the incident and a description of the indivdual, and his or her dog, and then report it to the council dog
warden team by telephoning them on 01752 304147 - this is a direct number to the warden admin team who will log
your call and pass the information onto one of the teams dog wardens. The dog wardens are committed individuals
who will do their best to catch the person in the act, issue a fine and provide education.
Abandoned Vehicles:
Abandoned vehicles in or near the park can attract vandalism and are illegal. If you would like to report an untaxed
or abandoned vehicle you can either telephone the Plymouth City Council abandoned vehicle team on 01752 304715, send
them an email [here],
