Recycling in the park
Recycling facilities are currently provided by Plymouth City Council and include provision for recycling plastics and cans as well as
green, brown and clear glass. The two recycling banks, one large for glass and a smaller one for plastics and cans, are located
on a custom built hardstanding area in Lucas Terrace at the bottom of Farringdon Road just before the railway bridge. Parking and turning present no problems
with the wide and quiet road giving easy access at all times. The recycling banks are emptied on a regular basis and are available for any member of the public to use.
The recycle banks in the park
If you should find the recycling bins are full, you can request that they are emptied by emailing Plymouth City Council
using
recycling@plymouth.gov.uk, telephone 01752 408408 or you can use the contact menu link on the left and let a member of the Fotp committee know - they will
then arrange to have the recycling banks emptied. Reporting a full recycling bank when you see one is very important and
takes no time to do. By reporting it, you will be helping to keep the park clear of litter and broken glass.
