The small formal park is located at the far western end of the park and is currently laid out to shrubs, bamboo and both small and large trees. Shrub borders provide the main interest since the central circular flower bed has been grassed over. Of architectural interest are the original red brick pillars that stand to either side of the main entrance.

Although currently past its' best, moves are already in place to expand the number and variety of shrubs and planting, re-establish the central flowerbed and refurbish the brick pillars replacing one that is missing. At the time of writing, additional rose bushes have already been added providing extra interest.
